Technology Transition [AAR-530]


AAR-530 serves as the focal point for the planning and integration of operational requirements into a cohesive technical AAR-500 program, develops long-and mid-range technical program planning, and coordinates the integration of division plans and programs.

The branch conducts applied research and development (R&D) with principal emphasis on current and emerging aviation security technology targeted at identified operating requirements and performs cost benefit analysis and is responsible for cohesive division briefing that covers all branches.

The branch is responsible for contractual efforts to ensure quality elements and testing to meet program requirements, goals, and objectives; develops long and mid-term plans and proposals and monitors and reports progress of ongoing research projects; and supports library functions, including information control center operations.
