Action Plan 5 Practitioners' Workshop 1

Atlantic City, NJ

The First US-European Action Plan 5 Practitioners Workshop was hosted by the Technical Center (at the Ocean Life Center) from March 19-21, 2002. There were 33 expert practitioners representing 18 research organizations from around the world in attendance (14 Europeans, and 19 US participants). The goal was to gather information for developing a paper on best practices for real time human-in-the-loop simulation, to promote the exchange of ideas and techniques concerning concept validation, and, of course, to foster national and international relationships and partnerships. Karen Buondonno (US), Parimal Kopardekar (US), and Andy Harvey (Europe) were the workshop organizers.
