The FAA has agreements with ARINC Inc. and CSSI Inc. under which the FAA provides these private-sector
firms with GPS-based Monitoring Units, receiving in turn from them accurate aircraft geometric height estimates. It should be noted that monitoring services provided to operators are in accordance with fee schedules established by these firms |
