The Advanced Technology
Branch, ACT-350, is committed to supporting a technologically
advanced future National Air Space System (NAS). The Advanced
Technology Branch develops and tests new technologies, which enhance
ATC Ground and Airborne flight information transfer and
management. This work includes the development and validation
of domestic and international standards to ensure proper and
expeditious deployment of these new technologies. The Advanced
Technology Branch's projects ensure the continual improvement in NAS
safety and efficiency.
