LOGIN PROCEDURES FOR NEW FEDTRIP TRAVELERS
1. Using your Internet browser go the FedTrip web site
http://www.fedtrip.gov
2. Enter “faatc” into
the Agency Name field. Enter “selfsetup” into
the Member Login field. Do not enter anything into the Password
field at this time.
Click on Main Menu.

3. This will bring you to the Personal Information screen.
You must complete the following fields to successfully register:
- First and Last Name
- E-mail address
- Work telephone number
- Member ID: Enter up to 15 characters in the Member ID field. (This will
become your Member Login.)
- Travel Planers should use their first and last name
separated by a period "." as their Member ID
- Password: Enter a password up to 15 characters.
- Verify Password: Re-enter your password to verify it.
4. Click on Continue to submit your information. Note
that clicking on Reset will clear the form and you will have to re-enter
all of your personal
information.

5.
You will now get the "Welcome To FedTrip!" screen. You will be
prompted to either "Finish Setting Up My Profile" or "Begin
planning A Trip". You should "Finish Setting Up My Profile" or
you will not be able to purchase tickets.


SETTING UP A TRAVEL PLANNER
Some travelers may want to set up their secretary or administrative
staff to make reservations for them. Prior to setting up a travel planner
the employee
that is acting as a travel planner must create a Fed Trip user account and
give their Member ID to the employees that they will be supporting.
1. Login to Fed Trip.
2. From the Main Menu click on View or Edit Traveler Profile.

3. Click on Travel Settings.

4. Enter the Individual Member ID (login) of the new person
you want to authorize as a travel planner. To enter more than one travel
planner, put each on a new
line using the Enter key on your keyboard.
5. Click on Save Changes.
