The Acquisition Groups are responsible for awarding and administering all supplies, equipment, and services required to support these wide spectrum of operations that support
the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center for the National Airspace System (NAS). Both Groups acquire and administer all types of simplified acquisition, complex requirements,
and credit card buys as well as Other Transactions (OT). OT includes Memoranda of Understanding
(MOU), Memoranda of Agreement (MOA), and Inter and Intra-agency Agreements.
Duties Include:
Award Contracts
Issue Purchase Orders
Make Purchase Card Buys
Enter into Agreements
Contract Administration
Negotiate and Issue Modifications
Close out Contracts, Orders and Agreements
Manage Acquisition Disputes Process
Shared Secretarial Services
