Services

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded a contract to Office Depot Business Services Division. The Contract covers a full range of Office Products. It is estimated that use of this contract will result in significant overall savings to the FAA. Use of this contract to buy office supplies including paper, toner and general office supplies is mandatory.

This Organization provides timely and quality awards and administration of acquisitions for the Technical Center, agency, Department of Transportation, other agencies, and other entities. Acquisitions include, but are not limited to, credit card buys, simplified acquisitions, required sources of supply, GSA orders, complex acquisitions, agreements, and other transactions.

This Organization is responsible for the transportation of items in support of FAA programs, performing packing, crating, and coordinating with common carriers. This includes the  operation of a centralized receiving, pickup and package delivery service for all Tech Center customers and managing all aspects of the Tech Center Post Office, receiving, sorting, delivering, and metering mail as well as coordinating with the US Postal Service.

This Organization provides inventory management and supply activities, manages warehousing operations, the aircraft spare parts repairable exchange program, and directs and administers property management programs for personal and real property accountability, utilization, and disposal.  Centralized receiving, pickup and delivery services are also provided for our customers.

This Organization operates the Customer Service support store which contains office supplies and the Aircraft Support Store which services Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-owned aircraft based at the Technical Center.

This Organization manages research grants and cooperative agreements, which support aviation-related research in topics with the potential to gain further knowledge in emerging aviation technologies.
